Get Problem

POST /public-api/publicapi.v1.Problem/GetProblem

Required scope: problem:read. The actor must be authorized to read the problem. This read does not mark the actor’s problem inbox as seen.

{ "id": "<problem-id>" }

Returns problem, up to 100 tasks, canUpdate, manualSolvingDisabled, advancedTaskCount, completedAdvancedTaskCount, and truncated. Problem assignees and labels are each limited to 100. Title and template name are capped at 200 characters, description at 20,000, and returned task bodies at 2,000. Counters remain complete even when detail is truncated; there is no task pagination on this endpoint.

The read bounds text and child collections in SQL rather than loading the full problem and trimming afterward. Comments and advanced-task execution configuration are not fetched. Manual and advanced-task totals/completion counts are computed over all matching tasks, not just the returned detail.

Tasks expose completion state and hasLinkedAction, not linked action/flow configuration or execution. canUpdate describes actor access, not permission to perform lifecycle transitions through the public update operation. Times such as completedAt are Unix seconds, encoded as JSON strings for int64 fields.
